About Boris
Boris is a green dog in the truest sense — genetically selected, health cleared and socially built, but deliberately left unfinished so his future handler or unit can shape the protection work themselves. He carries the drive, hardness and clarity of the KNPV lines behind him without any of the conflict that comes from rushed or inconsistent decoy work.

Temperament
Forward, confident and highly social with people. Boris recovers instantly from novelty, works readily for food and toy, and shows no environmental sensitivity on stairs, gratings, transport or in crowds. Nerve is genuinely stable rather than merely busy.
Health
Hips A/A, elbows 0/0 under FCI scoring. Full DNA panel clear. Eyes and cardiac clear. Lean at 30kg with full veterinary and import documentation.
Training
Marker-based obedience foundations: engagement, heel, positions, recall on lead and a reliable out on toy. Crate, vehicle and kennel conditioned. Prey and hunt work developed on tugs and long line. No bite suit, hidden sleeve or civil work has been started — that is intentional.
Suitable home
A professional unit, sport competitor or experienced handler who wants to build the protection phase to their own standard. Also suitable for our own finishing programme if you prefer us to complete the work.

A green dog is a young adult that has been health screened, temperament tested and given obedience and environmental foundations, but has not been titled or finished in protection work. You buy the genetics and the groundwork, then build the specialist work yourself.
Can you finish Boris for me?
Yes. Green dogs can be placed directly or enrolled in our finishing programme, with the training cost quoted separately once we agree the brief.
